Our technology consulting client is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure, 10+ years) to design and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Bicep
Duration: 1 month (June 29, to July 31, )
Location: Remote
Join a remote consulting engagement focused on building secure and automated Azure infrastructure environments. This role enables streamlined deployment across multiple Azure environments while ensuring governance and compliance through robust DevOps practices. The project offers visibility within a large-scale technology organization and direct ownership of infrastructure provisioning and automation initiatives.
Must Haves
- 5+ years in Azure engineering with hands-on deployment using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep) and Azure Resource Manager templates
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated infrastructure provisioning
- Experience deploying React and .NET applications on Azure container platforms
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-)
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
Nice to Have
- Experience enforcing Azure Policy and governance configurations
- Familiarity with RBAC setup and least privilege access management
Responsibilities
- Review and validate Infrastructure as Code (Bicep) templates for Azure resources, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated provisioning and deployment of Azure infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage Azure resources through Azure DevOps pipelines across multiple environments.
- Troubleshoot issues and errors related to deployments.
- Implement and manage security considerations including RBAC configurations, least privilege access, Azure Policy enforcement, and governance guardrails to ensure compliant and secure deployments.
