Salary range (but not limited to):

94,200 - 115,200

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Bilingual Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our new Employee Relations Centre of Expertise. In this role, you will participate in the development of cutting-edge practices and recommendation to enhance the Respect in the Workplace Program and policy. Your expertise in investigations and mediation will ensure the effective governance and continuous improvement of our Respect in the Workplace program. You will also partner closely with the Sr HRBP Employee Relations and our Health & Safety partners and various stakeholders across HR and the organization to design and implement employee relations best practices, resources, and tools to support our HR community. You will support and take part of key initiatives to evolve and support the company in our efforts to ensure a healthy and safe workplace in a hybrid work environment.

  • Develop excellent relationships with HR to become a key resource, advisor and expert for the HR community on employee relations and complex respect in the workplace issues.
  • Collaborate with various centers of expertise to develop and implement tools, standards, and templates designed to support operational HR teams with respect to Employee Relations.
  • Partner with the IFC Health & Safety team to strengthen the hybrid health & safety practices and process across our Canadian operations.
  • Further the advancement of our domestic violence policy & process management; in addition to evolving our training and awareness protocol.
  • Collaborate with our mental health team on the psychological health and safety support for employees, sharing and aligning on organizational best practices.

Respect au travail et enquêtes

  • Participate in the implementation of workplace harassment prevention strategies across all levels of our organization.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and support HR, leaders and employees in successful resolution of workplace issues and conflicts.
  • Elevate organizational training on workplace respect for all employees nationwide.
  • Support the development and deployment of advanced training for HR professionals on respect in the workplace, conflict resolution, and mediation best practices.
  • Collaborate with departments such as corporate communications, legal, HR, compliance, and IT to ensure seamless program implementation.

  • Ensure our practices related to Employee Relations, Respect in the Workplace and Health & Safety align with industry and market best practices and propose relevant improvements.
  • Utilize market research and data analysis to anticipate needs and craft proactive strategies for the Employee Relations COE.
  • Conduct gap analyses and assess operational needs to propose alignments and solution to enhance the efficiency of HR processes and support our Canadian operations.
  • Analyze global trends and prepare quarterly executive summaries and ad hoc reporting.
  • Enhance our internal dashboard and reporting KPIs to reflect the latest industry standards.
  • Leverage best practices with respect to psycho-social risk prevention.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources with strong employee relations experience.
  • Strategic focus, autonomy, and exceptional organizational skills.
  • High capacity for managing stress and navigating ambiguity with motivation to bring clarity and confidence.
  • Adaptability to a continuously evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail and experience in trend and data analysis.
  • Exceptional influencing and relationship-building skills with different level of managements and a variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to display curiosity and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • CHRP designation and Workplace mediation or investigation certification preferred.
  • For all candidates across Canada : Bilingualism (French / English) is required considering the need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
