Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager – SAP HANA to lead the delivery of a complex SAP HANA initiative for an Oil & Gas company The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, stakeholder communications, and contractual deliverables.

This is a client-facing leadership role requiring strong project governance, stakeholder management, and SAP delivery experience. The Project Manager will work closely with IBM, Cenovus stakeholders, technical teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Duration: 6 months

Work Mode : Hybrid - Calgary, AB (Preferred) | Candidates outside Calgary must be willing to travel as required.

Responsabilités clés

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of SAP HANA projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project plans, resource plans, status reports, RAID logs, and governance documentation.
• Establish and execute effective communication plans with project teams, IBM leadership, and Cenovus stakeholders.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to project team members, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees, stakeholder reviews, and executive status updates.
• Apply project management best practices including change control, risk management, issue resolution, and quality assurance.
• Monitor project performance and proactively address risks, blockers, and delivery challenges.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project objectives, and IBM delivery standards.
• Coordinate activities across business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.

Ce que vous devez avoir (Must Haves)

• 8+ years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise-scale technology projects.
• Proven experience managing SAP HANA projects or large SAP transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project governance, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, and risk management.
• Demonstrated experience managing client-facing engagements and executive stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive successful outcomes in fast-paced environments.

Atout (Nice to have)

• Experience delivering projects within the Energy, Oil & Gas, or Utilities sectors.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
