Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

We are seeking a GEO Brand Partnerships and Content Distribution Specialist to build and scale strategic partnerships that enhance our brand and content footprint. This role will identify, negotiate, and manage third party content distribution and co-create partnerships that increase our brand’s authority, visibility, and sentiment.
You will work cross functionally within Marketing, Business Development, and other teams to craft a partner ecosystem that amplifies our most authoritative content, earns high trust citations, and improves the visibility of our brands.
What you’ll do here:
Define and launch the GEO partnerships and content distribution strategy
- Build a GEO partner roadmap that maps core topics to high authority destinations (trade journals, review sites, communities, research hubs) that influence the largest AI LLMs.
- Define the partner selection framework (strategic fit, brand alignment, target segment overlap) and establish partner selection criteria: domain and topical authority, audience relevance, ability to host structured attribution, update cadence (recency), and governance compliance.
- Build a partner network that can distribute content at scale: proactively scout, evaluate and pitch partnership opportunities across content creators, publishers, distribution platforms, and industry experts.
Stakeholder Management & Influence
- Partner with GEO/Brand leadership to tie partnership strategy into broader ecosystem of marketing initiatives ensuring buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Align partnership opportunities with Marketing team goals for brand authority, visibility, and sentiment.
- Lead day-to-day relationship management activities among partner network to foster strong, meaningful relationships.
- Partner with internal Brand & Content, PR, Social teams to understand content priorities, content topics, and messaging pillars.
- Work closely with Data & Analytics to optimize overall partner performance and conversion paths to ensure partner marketing initiatives are contributing meaningfully to program KPIs.
Measurement and reporting
- Build dashboards that track partner citations/mentions; inclusion in AI summaries/answers; entity consistency; link/canonical integrity; freshness/recency; referral traffic; assisted conversions; and brand sentiment shifts.
- Run controlled tests on distribution formats, channels, and update cadence to isolate impact on AI inclusion and authority.
- Report insights and ROI; refine the partner portfolio based on performance.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7–10+ years in partnerships development, content distribution/syndication, SEO/content marketing, or digital PR; experience with publishers, review sites, communities, or data/research partners is a plus.
- Demonstrated success negotiating syndication or co‑marketing partnerships that resulted in measurable gains in KPIs.
- An eye for identifying opportunities across partners, marketing channels, and tactics to drive meaningful outcomes for the business.
- Familiarity with tools for brand tracking, media monitoring, sentiment analysis, and analytics; exposure to podcast/audio indexing and video/YouTube optimization is beneficial.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
