Job Description:
  • We are looking for a highly skilled and autonomous Electrical Engineer with strong experience in electrical cable/harness design and PCB design at microcontroller level.
  • The ideal candidate should be hands-on, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced engineering environment. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting electrical harness systems and PCB designs, ensuring high-quality and reliable engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Harness & Cable Design
  • Design and develop electrical cable harnesses for complex systems.
  • Create detailed wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly documentation.
  • Ensure correct routing, shielding, grounding, and signal integrity in harness design.
  • Support manufacturing teams with cable assembly instructions and troubleshooting.
  • PCB Design & Development
  • Design PCB layouts at microcontroller level (e.g., STM32U5 or similar platforms).
  • Develop schematic designs and translate them into optimized PCB layouts using industry tools.
  • Ensure compliance with design standards, signal integrity, and power requirements.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation of PCB boards.
  • Engineering Tools & Documentation
  • Create and manage engineering drawings and documentation using Microsoft Visio.
  • Perform PCB design and layout using Altium Designer.
  • Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation for designs and revisions.
  • Collaboration & Execution
  • Work independently with minimal supervision (autonomous working style).
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including mechanical, manufacturing, and system engineers.
  • Operate efficiently in a fast-paced development environment with tight deadlines.
  • Problem Solving & Support
  • Provide hands-on support during prototyping, testing, and production phases.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues in harness and PCB designs.
  • Ensure design improvements based on testing feedback and real-world validation.

Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant electrical engineering roles.
  • Strong experience in:
  • Electrical cable/harness design
  • PCB design at microcontroller level
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer.
  • Experience using Microsoft Visio for engineering documentation.
  • Strong hands-on engineering and practical implementation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced engineering environments.

Skillset:
  • Experience with STM32 microcontroller-based designs (e.g., STM32U5).
  • Exposure to manufacturing and assembly processes for cable harnesses.
  • Experience in debugging hardware and PCB-level issues.

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related field.
