Our client is an internationally recognized manufacturer specializing in commercial and institutional flooring solutions. The company is known for the quality of its products, innovation, and strong positioning within the architectural and commercial design market.
As part of its continued growth in Quebec, our client is currently seeking a Technical Sales Representative / Business Development Specialist to develop the Greater Montreal market with architects, designers, end users, contractors, dealers, and commercial partners.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain business relationships with architecture and design firms
- Promote commercial flooring solutions within commercial, institutional, and public projects
- Actively participate in product specification activities within the A&D community
- Develop and grow the assigned territory
- Maintain and expand relationships with dealers, distributors, and industry partners
- Conduct technical presentations and client meetings
- Participate in industry events and networking activities
- Ensure rigorous follow-up on ongoing projects and business opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an excellent client experience
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Territory:
- Primarily Greater Montreal
- Occasional travel to North Shore and South Shore project sites
- Client base mainly located within the Montreal market

Skills and qualifications :
- Experience in technical sales, business development, or specification within construction materials, commercial design, or flooring industries
- Experience within the commercial and institutional market
- Knowledge of the architectural market and A&D project cycle (strong asset)
- Experience within the resilient flooring industry (major asset)
- Strong relationship-building and consultative sales approach
- Ability to develop long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Autonomous, organized, and results-oriented profile
- Strong career stability and professional track record
- Bilingualism (French / English)
