Tâches

• Administer and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, databases, and network security.
• Manage and maintain Linux environments, including Odoo servers.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and hardware.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT environments.
• Implement and oversee backup and data recovery processes.
• Monitor systems and respond to critical incidents.
• Ensure business continuity and infrastructure recovery.
• Manage identities, access controls, and security permissions.
• Ensure information security and data protection through cybersecurity best practices.
• Analyze incidents, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Contribute to the evolution and optimization of system architecture.
• Manage system updates, security patches, and version control.
• Deploy and maintain IT security solutions.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures (DRP).
• Perform any other related tasks.

Exigences du poste

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Administration, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and information technology.
• Experience administering Linux environments, including nginx, Proxmox, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of networking environments, including Wi-Fi, LAN, VLAN, and VPN.
• Experience with cloud services and automation tools such as AWS, Ansible, SaltStack, and Prometheus.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL database optimization.
• Experience with data backup solutions and backup tools such as Commvault is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of virtualized environments including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS is considered an asset.
• Experience integrating ERP solutions is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Odoo software is considered an asset.
• Fluency in French and functional English, both spoken and written, to support English-speaking clients and vendors across Canada (50% of the time).
