Description du poste
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a technology team supporting infrastructure financial planning and portfolio management applications within a large financial institution. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of BA experience, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work across diverse business and technical stakeholder groups.
Ce que vous ferez
- Gather and document business requirements, process flows, one-page summaries, and business process documentation
- Convert requirements into well-formed user stories in Jira, including test cases and acceptance criteria
- Manage and groom a backlog using Kanban and Scrum methodologies
- Create and maintain UI wireframes and document application behavior and business rules
- Assist in the creation and execution of system and user acceptance test plans
- Support training coordination and development of multi-channel training materials
- Assist in day-to-day production support and issue resolution for existing applications
- Contribute to project management tasks including project plans, status reports, scope management, and governance
Ce que vous apportez
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on complex, cross-functional projects
- Strong requirements gathering skills including gap analysis, use case modeling, and cross-functional process flows
- Experience writing and managing user stories in Jira within Agile delivery environments
- Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis
- Strong documentation skills across all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Experience with UI wireframing and documenting application and data behavior
- Familiarity with financial management processes such as workforce planning, budgeting, capital budgeting, or IT funding management
- Eligibility for a mandatory background check
Avantage
- Experience supporting program or portfolio management, time tracking, or resource management applications
- Background in financial services or capital markets technology teams
- Exposure to project governance models and work breakdown structures
Configuration du travail
- Hybrid in Montreal, QC
- In-person interview at the client location is mandatory if selected at the first interview stage
- 6+ month contract
- English proficiency required; French an asset given the location
