Duration: 8 Months Job Description: The function covers objective assurance and consulting activity designed to improve an organization operation by evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. May also be responsible for liaising with the Risk and Compliance functions. This role is found where individuals cover a broad area of responsibilities rather than focusing on one specific role. Responsible for the evaluation and monitoring of a company risk management, control and governance practices, with recommendations for improvement where necessary. and best practices. Makes recommendations to Business Unit Owners. Provides detailed feedback to business unit management. About the Department: The Data Office Department drives and continuously improves the way data is handled throughout the organization. It looks to satisfy the requirements related to principles for effective enterprise data aggregation and reporting and is intended to support evolving regulatory requirements. Responsibilities - The Business Analyst will report to the Canada Chief Data Officer. The role will be supporting data privacy and protection activities. This will involve reporting functionally to the Data Privacy & Protection Manager. - The Business analyst will drive and contribute to the team implementation of the data office framework ensuring its execution and maintenance, as well as working in close collaboration with business partners, technology, and other stakeholders. - Functional Business Analyst role focused on business/process activities rather than technical delivery - Team supports North America privacy/regulatory initiatives and framework implementation - Working within an existing framework already developed by Privacy SMEs - Strong focus on stakeholder interviews, active listening, and understanding business processes/initiatives - Gather, document, and translate business requirements into process improvements and actionable outcomes - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Business, Legal, IT, Cybersecurity, and Executive Management - Support ongoing “Run the Bank” BAU activities and process change initiatives - Analyze and interpret new regulations and communicate impacts clearly to stakeholders - Conduct/support training, awareness sessions, and preparation of training materials/decks - Strong communication and interpersonal skills required; ability to simplify complex topics for both technical and non-technical audiences - Ability to influence stakeholders and promote governance/compliance culture across the organization - Looking for a consultative, process-oriented BA profile — not a Technical BA, InfoSec, or pure PM profile - 5–7 years of experience preferred; non-financial backgrounds acceptable - French is a plus but not mandatory About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
