Our client, a leading organization in the sports media and AI technology sector, is seeking a FP&A professional to join their team. As a FP&A, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting executive leadership and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst, Budgeting & Forecasting

Location: Montreal, QC

Pay Range: $90000 - $100000

What's the Job?

  • Own weekly and monthly KPI reporting and executive dashboards
  • Prepare executive-ready reporting packages including variance commentary and key insights
  • Lead rolling forecasts and support annual budgeting and reforecast cycles
  • Perform variance analysis (budget vs actual, forecast vs actual) and identify key drivers
  • Build financial models to support business initiatives such as hiring, pricing, and investments

What's Needed?

  • 5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analytics
  • Strong forecasting, KPI reporting, and variance analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executives
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is an asset
  • Bilingual required: French and strong English proficiency is essential to support clients outside the province.
