JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join a top aerospace company in Longueuil, QC for the afternoon/night shift 2:00pm - 12:00am, from Tuesday to Friday. You will be in charge of the performance of all tasks involved in the shipment, requisition, and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment into and from warehouse. This includes the coordination of material flow within a manufacturing organization. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in daily production meeting - Sequence engine production schedule to optimize output - Participate in production capacity planning. - Ensure availability of materials and follow-up on shortages with buyers - Coordinate prioritization and follow up on parts in inspection to ensure no flow interruption - Resolve all roadblocks related to part flow or system discrepancies ( example : serial number issues) - Responsible to follow-up on engine deliveries jointly with supervisors. - Responsible to order Engine shipping boxes - Work to optimize inventory level. - Initiate and support continuous improvement projects. - Monthly KPI updates REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - College degree with 3 to 5 years’ experience or Bachelor degree with 1 to 3 years’ experience - Field of study: supply chain, operations, procurement, logistics - Knowledge of SAP environment and of the management of complex bills of material. - Excellent communication skills in French (English is a bonus) - Ability to work Tuesday - Friday from 2:00pm-12:00am
