Description
This position is responsible for supporting the overall Retail Network comprising 300+ Staples locations, 92 Terminals (indirect), 42 Retail Free-Standing stores, and 300+ Dropboxes. This position is also responsible for the mapping of the Retail Network (1250+) locations to help determine the right channel ie., agent, retail store, partner, and drop box. Being a primary support role for the daily dealings of all induction channels relating to data analysis and solution recommendation is key in ensuring the Retail Network is efficient and compliant; revenue reports (credit/debit), functional subject matter expert, and equipment technology.
Responsibilities
• Providing project implementation support such as; business analysis and reports for the retail network to better understand the retail landscape and customer convenience access points is a primary function.
• Identify and implement strategic drop box placements relative to competitors.
• Maintain listing and warehouse inventory.
• Working with ops to drive scanning compliance.
• Quarterly meetings with facility team to ensure lease renewals are on target.
• Complete monthly and quarterly reports for key stakeholders.
• Assist with compiling a retail dashboard that is to be displayed on the intranet monthly.
• Identify process compliance issues.
• 24 hr turnaround for Equipment Repair.
• Report monthly NSD service calls, requests.
• Represent cross-functional projects such as ESO user acceptance testing.
• Intelligence for lease renewals 12 months in advance.
• Smart allocation of locations; agents, partners, PCL stores.
• Support retail operations manager indirectly.
Education
- Post secondary education preferred
Experience
• Analytical & Critical Thinking Abilities.
• 1-3 years of experience required.
• Interpersonal & Influencing Skills.
• Ability to take initiative.
• Multi-tasking.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Strong knowledge of Project Management.
• Advanced knowledge of Mapinfo and Excel.
• Knowledge of Visio application
Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
