We are hiring a Bilingual District Sales Manager for a growing organization in the steel construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hunter-style sales professional who enjoys business development, relationship building, and growing market share. Leadership experience is preferred, but strong sales candidates with management potential will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development across assigned territory
- Expand market presence in Quebec and Atlantic Canada
- Manage and grow relationships with existing partners/customers
- Lead and support a team of 2 Estimators
- Build strong relationships with steel fabricators, contractors, engineers, and distributors
- Manage bid opportunities, RFQs, and RFPs
- Develop pricing strategies and close new business opportunities
- Conduct regular customer visits and meetings across the region
Ideal Background:
- Sales experience in steel, construction materials, fabrication, or related industry
- Strong hunter mentality with proven business development success
- Experience with bids, tenders, RFQs, or project-based sales
- Relationship-focused approach (not only price selling)
- Comfortable winning business from competitors
- Leadership or mentoring experience is an asset
Travel:
- Regional travel 1–2 days per week
- Annual U.S. Sales Conference
