Votre rôle
As Editorial Solutions Adviser, Artificial Intelligence, you will spearhead the exploration and integration of AI initiatives that are set to transform content creation and delivery at Radio-Canada.
You will foster a highly collaborative environment, working closely with teams across the organization.
To excel in this role, you must have a background in journalism and strong knowledge of generative AI tools.
With the support of our development teams, you will evaluate and test emerging AI solutions.
You will be responsible for vetting these in-house-developed tools through an ethical lens, ensuring they align strictly with our Journalistic Standards and Practices.
Your work will be vital in maintaining Radio-Canada’s reputation as a trusted, reliable source of news and information for Canadians.
As our internal AI subject matter expert, you will monitor industry trends and provide thought leadership to our teams.
You will play a pivotal role in identifying potential challenges, developing AI strategies and supporting editorial teams.
This includes coaching and training staff on how to use new tools effectively while remaining compliant with our ethical framework for AI use.
Ce que vous apportez

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.

Minimum five years’ recent experience in a digital news environment.

Strong journalistic skills and substantial experience writing, researching, fact-checking and packaging digital news content.

Understanding of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices.

Deep knowledge of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude.

Solid understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic AI principles.

Innovative mind and good change management skills.

Ability to understand stakeholder needs and manage expectations.

Empathetic, collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Excellent command of written French; English an asset.

Knowledge of Google Workspace tools.
