We're looking for a UX Engineer (Shopify / Ecommerce) to join our team!

Responsabilités

User Experience Design

• Design and optimize the ecommerce customer experience to improve usability, engagement, and conversion.
• Design customer journeys and user flows from product discovery through checkout
• Create wireframes and prototypes for product pages, collections, cart, checkout, and landing pages
• Conduct UX audits to identify friction in the purchase funnel and recommend improvements
• Optimize navigation, filtering, search, and product discovery experiences
• Ensure mobile-first and responsive design across the storefront
• Use analytics, heatmaps, and behavioral data to guide UX improvements
• Support conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives through experimentation and iteration

Shopify Frontend Development

• Implement UX designs and maintain high-quality Shopify storefront experiences.
• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Build reusable theme sections, components, and templates
• Translate Figma or design specifications into responsive storefront implementations
• Implement interactive UI components such as product galleries, variant selectors, and cart experiences
• Optimize storefront performance and Core Web Vitals
• Configure Shopify storefront features including navigation, templates, and metafields
• Integrate and troubleshoot Shopify apps and third-party tools

Exigences

• 3+ years experience in Shopify development or frontend ecommerce development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience implementing responsive and mobile-first interfaces
• Familiarity with UX design principles and user-centered design
• Experience translating Figma or design files into production code
• Understanding of ecommerce UX patterns and conversion optimization
• Experience working with analytics tools to evaluate user behavior
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Compétences souhaitées

• Experience with Shopify theme architecture
• Familiarity with A/B testing and CRO tools
• Experience with Shopify CLI, Git, and modern development workflows
• Experience with Shopify Plus environments
• Knowledge of SEO and performance optimization for ecommerce
• Experience with Shopify metafields and metaobjects
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as GA4 or heatmapping tools
