Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position summary
The Centre for Innovative Medicine is a clinical research center located at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre.
Tâches générales
- Acting as the Centre for Innovative Medicine receptionist,
- Providing administrative support to the director and managers,
- Assisting the research team in their administrative duties,
- Assisting with day-to-day department operations,
- Welcoming patients and notifying staff accordingly,
- Answering phones, responding to general inquiries (email from our website), etc.,
- Performing other administrative functions such as verifying supporting documentation, patient bookings etc.,
- Distributing incoming mail,
- Assisting in managing office supplies, maintaining inventories,
- Coordinating room bookings, catering, etc.,
- Responding promptly to queries and requests for information,
- Receive training on GCP,
- Performing other office/administrative duties as per the immediate supervisors’ request.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical research environment with multiple stakeholders (patients, clinicians, investigators, and research staff).

Exigences
Education: High School Diploma.
Work experience: At least two to three (2–3) years of office experience.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of oral and written French is required,
- Advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English,
- Clinical Research experience an asset,
- Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Comfortable working under pressure and provide excellent customer service,
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills,
- Must demonstrate ownership of daily work performance and functions.
