Senior IT Manager
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Senior IT Manager to help deliver a vast program in Quebec. We are a tight-knit team who are multi-talented, hard workers, and passionate about delivering quality. In this role, you will work with other department leaders to define, prioritize their needs, and develop a centralized process for projects that can be consistently applied across multiple portfolios. This includes insight into all projects in the PMO to leverage opportunities, optimize shared resources across projects, and manage methodologies and metrics.
Must be based in Québec to be considered.

Responsibilities:
Responsabilités
- Define and deploy IT PMO process improvements that enhance and streamline planning and management of programs and projects
- Build and drive adoption of our project, program and portfolio methodology and toolsets.
- Establish program management governance policies and practices, conduct regular reviews such that key projects are tracking to defined objectives and key performance indicators, maintain stakeholder alignment, and proactively manage risk to quality and schedule performance
- Identify and solve for evolving gaps and emerging needs in skills, process and tool capabilities, and capacity to support sustained long-term business growth thereby achieving a greater level of maturity as a PMO project management organization
- Design and implement dashboards to report on portfolio health, projects, vendors and financials
- Lead teams to achieve the organizational vision through Agile portfolio management, including lean principles, constantly assessing the value stream and planning on a rolling basis

- Anticipates, evaluates, and resolves project issues, delays, and problems by utilizing project management and business expertise.
- Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet conditions.

- Establishes and implements individual and team priorities, performance goals and objectives to ensure completion of responsibility for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Provides training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and gives honest and open feedback to aid in the development of talent.
- Manages and evaluates individual/team performance and takes appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards.
- Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality.
- Manages assigned area(s) of responsibility to ensure workloads are appropriately balanced among team members.
- Ensures that top talent is hired and retained for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Defines and builds organizational capabilities necessary to meet the business strategy.

Exigences
- Bilingual fluency in French and English.
- Degree in computer science or another related field preferred.
- Over 8 years of applicable IT experience, plus 2 or more years of people management.
- Knowledge of North American energy efficiency, especially Quebec (preferred).
- Strong work ethic and communication skills.
