Senior Enterprise Security Architect – SecDesign
Location: Montreal (3 days in office)Experience: 10+ years
Role Overview
Lead deep security architecture assessments across systems, applications, and business processes
Identify risks, evaluate controls, and recommend remediation aligned with security standards
Act as an internal consultant, collaborating with business, technology teams, and global SMEs
Support SDLC modernization, deployment automation, and influence next-generation development practices
Key Responsibilities
Security Architecture Assessments
Conduct SecDesign deep-dive sessions with stakeholders
Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks by business impact

Deliver actionable security recommendations in areas including:
Authentication, authorization, auditing
Application security (session controls, penetration testing, input validation)
Secure data storage & transmission
Network and cloud security
Architecture Governance
Review and update security reference architectures and blueprints
Participate in Operational & Technology Risk governance forums
Define modern architecture patterns across cloud, application, and platform domains
Technology Enablement
Collaborate with SMEs to evolve SDLC tooling and deployment automation
Influence development and deployment platforms across diverse tech stacks
Identify strategic technology investments to strengthen security posture
Required Skills & Experience
Soft Skills
Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and listening skills
Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders
Strong time-management; able to handle multiple assessments
Deliver under tight timelines; engage effectively with senior management
Tailor communication of technical vs. business risks
Security Architecture Expertise
Deep knowledge of application, network, platform, and cloud security vulnerabilities
Experience conducting security or audit assessments and securing stakeholder buy-in
Strong ability to analyze technical designs, architecture diagrams, and functional requirements
