Position Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst / Application Support Specialist with strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Finance modules) to join our team.

This role will support the Finance Solution Architect on project-related activities while also providing day-to-day application support to live business units using D365 F&O.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Support & Operations
  • Provide functional support for D365 F&O Finance modules, including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (A/P)
    • Accounts Receivable (A/R)
    • Fixed Assets
    • Leases
    • Month-End and Period-End Closings
    • Manage, analyze, and resolve Finance-related tickets in a production environment
    • Perform root-cause analysis and propose sustainable solutions
    • Deliver high-quality support with a strong customer service mindset
    • Document issues, resolutions, and functional procedures
  • Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Support the Finance Solution Architect on D365 F&O projects (enhancements, rollouts, optimizations)
  • Gather and analyze Finance business requirements
  • Write functional specifications and support testing activities (UAT)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Finance processes within D365 F&O
  • Comfortable working in live/production environments and ticketing tools

Work Mode: 3 days on site at Saint-Laurent

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Systems
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Finance ERP Consultant, or Application Support Specialist
  • Experience in international or multi-entity environments is a plus

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Functional Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes
  • Solid understanding of IFRS standards
  • Proven experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations – Finance modules
  • Good understanding of financial closing cycles
  • Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Experience in ERP application support (Finance-focused)
  • Ability to analyze issues, configurations, and data within D365 F&O
