RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent will:

• Develop and characterize natural and synthetic hydrogels for tissue engineering applications,
• Perform biomaterial functionalization and modification, with a particular emphasis on methacrylation and click chemistry,
• Assist with the integration of biomaterials into microfluidic-based systems and 3D printed constructs,
• Support ongoing research projects through experimental execution and troubleshooting.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Bioengineering, chemistry, materials science or biomedical engineering
Other education considered an asset for this position:
Work Experience: 0 to 6 months of experience.
