Job Title: Senior Scrum Master
Location: Montreal (Day onboarding onsite / in office presence x week)
Duration: Months ContractKey Responsibilities
  • Improve transparency and predictability of output.
  • Facilitate improvement of Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, and where appropriate facilitate cross-squad ceremonies.
  • Coach teams and individuals on Agile principles, practices, and frameworks, promoting self-organization and accountability.
  • Identify and help remove impediments to team progress, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize product backlogs.
  • Track and communicate team performance metrics, using data to drive improvements.
  • Structure Jira boards to enable both requirements traceability and development scrum management.
  • Partner with Technical Program lead to enable transparency and alignment on project goals and progress.
  • Champion a culture of trust, collaboration, and customer-centric delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow (HAMPro / SAMPro modules), ServiceNow Platform Analytics, PowerBI.
  • Proven experience guiding multiple agile teams and scaling Scrum practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and frameworks.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Experience with agile project management tools (, Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally).
  • Ability to influence and drive organizational change.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
  • Advanced Scrum Master certification (, Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in large-scale agile transformations and working within distributed teams.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Position Summary

As part of the IT Hardware asset management lifecycle transformation program, we are building a team to architect, design, build and enable IT Asset Management via process-led design, using ServiceNow as the platform solution. The organization is transforming their Hardware Asset Management (HAM) practices to improve tracking and management of IT hardware through the lifecycle from purchase to disposal.

This will allow for IT Asset compliance and integrity, security, and transparency of the IT estate. The Senior Scrum Master is a leadership role responsible for guiding multiple agile teams in the effective application of Scrum and other Agile frameworks. This individual serves as a coach, facilitator, and servant leader, ensuring that teams deliver high-quality products efficiently while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

The Senior Scrum Master works closely with the Process and Product Owners, development teams, squad scrum masters and stakeholders to remove impediments, drive agile maturity, and support organizational goals.
