Inviting applications for the role of Informatica Developer

We are seeking an experienced Informatica / Talend Developer to join our data engineering team in Montreal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL solutions to support enterprise data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and/or Talend
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple source systems
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
• Use Python for data processing, automation, and integration where required
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and performance optimization
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve ETL and data-related issues
• Follow data governance, security, and compliance standards
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as an Informatica and/or Talend Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL development and data integration
• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Working experience with Python
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of scheduling tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Informatica or Talend certifications
