What you'll do here:
Providing continuous administration, improvement and optimization of Snowflake and Databricks platform. The goal is to enhance the overall performance, scalability, and user experience by addressing various aspects including infrastructure efficiency, cost management, and operational automation.
- Coding: Investigates and fixes complex defects (for multiple smaller functional applications); develops and designs technical solutions for existing products or for enhancements to new/future releases.
- Debugging / Troubleshooting: Performs root cause analysis, interprets the results, and develops action plan and priorities for backlogs (identifying short- and long-term solutions); may lead implementation of plan.
- Requirement Development: Leads development of requirements, understanding impact of architecture on overall solution.
- Design: Leads proof‑of‑concept for medium to large initiatives; implements prototypes to validate ideas.
- Designs for conformity between deployment environments, scalability, security and flexibility.
- Monitoring / Support: Independently handles and provides additional support in solving software/system monitoring issues and escalations which require complex technical expertise to troubleshoot.
- Deployment: Researches and proposes solutions for automation of deployments.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps engineering with focus on ML/AI platforms.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing Snowflake and Databricks platform, as platform administrator capacity.
- Strong experience with IaC and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Action, Terraform, GitLab).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in other DataAI tools, such as SageMaker, Bedrock is a strong asset.
