Make an impact with our Business Intelligence team as a Business Intelligence Analyst. Responsibilities

  • Focus on and participate in continuous Business Intelligence innovation; utilize analytical tools to provide data-driven insights
  • Create strong cross-functional relationships with leaders and corporate services teams
  • Gather strategic insights from financial and operational data and present findings to business leaders when ready to do so
  • Prepare management reports that contain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of moderate to advanced complexity
  • Maintain a solid understanding of business intelligence systems used to support analysis and reporting on a monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc basis
  • Develop and document processes while incorporating finance best practices
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve and automate work processes
  • Contribute to the culture of the team and promote a collaborative environment
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support as needed

Skills and Experience

  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken, due to frequent collaboration with English-speaking teams and clients across Canada and the fact that some client deliverables and regulatory requirements are in English
  • At least two years of related experience working in a strategic financial role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic field is required
  • Experience working with Power BI, Power Platform and large data models
  • Strong background in financial and business intelligence technologies, and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Experience with strategic planning, KPI development and analysis to facilitate the development of strategic plans
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present to business leaders
  • Demonstrated financial and business acumen
