The Opportunity

This role is a 6-month contract position, focused on translation requests from the Store Support Operations department. The candidate must be able to deal with confidential documents with a high degree of security and accuracy. The focus on translation will be Canadian French primarily for product name translations and overall proofreading.

What You’ll Do

  • Providing translation services and advising on the accuracy of French/English content for our internal team such as training materials, videos, and documents.
  • Assist with drafting and editing written content for reports and other materials, including highly confidential documents.
  • Formatting data collected for presentations.
  • Liaising with departmental staff to support translation and development of content for various purposes.
  • Upload translated materials into internal Company systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent verbal and written English AND French.
  • University Degree (preferably in linguistic/translation-related studies).
  • Demonstrated understanding and brand awareness of UNIQLO specific to the QC market.
  • Proven extremely high level of attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient with computers and programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications.
