Project / Program Overview

Replenishment and Innovation team (outside core IT). Builds and scales internal FileMaker applications that power forecasting, article creation, buying, real estate, import, and a LATAM partner organization supported from Montreal.

Role Summary

Net-new headcount partnering with a structure-focused developer (Windsor). Own schema / relationships, layouts / UI, scripts / calculations, and reporting. Translate BA requirements across multiple concurrent workstreams. Operate with minimal hand-holding under a high-tempo, Type-A director. Day-to-day primarily English; bilingual FR / EN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale FileMaker apps (Pro / Advanced / Server): data models, relationships, layouts, scripts, calcs, and reports.
• Convert business requirements into performant, maintainable solutions across 3–5 parallel workstreams.
• Configure / administer environments (as needed): privilege sets, accounts, SSL, backups.
• Partner with stakeholders in Forecasting, Article Creation, Buying, Real Estate, Import, and LATAM counterparts.
• Document solutions; provide clear release notes and handovers.

Must-Have Requirements

• 3–5 years hands-on FileMaker (Pro / Advanced / Server).
• Proven ownership of structure / UI / back-end beyond reporting.
• Stakeholder management with clear, proactive communication.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• FileMaker admin / security exposure (privilege sets, accounts, SSL, backups).

Ways of Working & Tools

• FileMaker Pro / Advanced / Server; FileMaker Go, Windows / macOS / WebDirect.
• Git or equivalent for versioning where applicable; lightweight release governance.
• Collaboration with Replenishment leadership; tight feedback loops; minimal supervision.

Security / Compliance & Mandatory Training

• Standard corporate policies and access controls. Additional training provided as required.

Contract & Hours

• Permanent, full-time.
• Hybrid: 1–2 days / week on-site at Montreal HQ.
