Arobas Personnel is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer for a contract with one of our clients located in Montreal.

What will you do?

As a BI Developer, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will design, develop, and optimize BI solutions while ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain BI tools, data models, dashboards, and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into efficient BI solutions.
• Develop and fine-tune IT solutions, including coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Build and manage OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) systems for multidimensional analysis.
• Work with relational and multidimensional databases, ensuring performance and data quality.
• Research and propose innovative data solutions to address business challenges.
• Present complex data in a clear and understandable format for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support or mentor team members in data-related initiatives when needed.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Around 7 years of experience in business intelligence, data development, or database management.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical information for diverse audiences.
