One of our clients, a company specializing in AV system integration and configuration, is currently seeking an Audiovisual Systems Configuration Specialist to join its team of experts. Reporting to the Integration Manager, this person will be responsible for programming, configuring, and commissioning audiovisual systems for various commercial and residential projects.

Experience and Skills Required:

The ideal candidate holds a degree in electronics, computer science, audiovisual systems, or a related field, or possesses equivalent experience. They have several years of experience in AV systems programming and integration (audio, video, lighting, automation, networking) and are proficient with platforms and tools such as Control4, Q-Sys, Biamp, D-Tools, and OVRC.

The successful candidate demonstrates a solid understanding of IT network concepts, strong technical precision, and excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They are organized, courteous, professional in their interactions, and able to work independently on-site. Access to a vehicle is required to travel to client locations. Certifications such as Control4, Q-Sys, Biamp, or CTS are considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for programming, configuring, and customizing audiovisual and automation systems according to project requirements. You will perform pre-programming in the workshop, then finalize the setup on-site. You will configure user interfaces, develop automated scenarios, ensure system security, and provide basic training to clients and internal teams.

You will work closely with project managers, technical advisors, and sales representatives to ensure quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. You will also contribute to research and development by creating reusable templates and models, while participating in the continuous improvement of internal processes and technical documentation.
