Overview
The Director of Web Services Architecture will be responsible for a team of around ten people (Product Owner, Developers, Quality Assurance Analyst, Architect). He will supervise and participate in the implementation of technological architectures as well as the delivery of numerous projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure governance and the quality of technical design
- Design and document the architectures (Cloud, APIs, Microservices) of various web products
- Mobilize, coach, and lead a development team
- Participate in the company's strategic vision and on the steering committee
- Support teams in technical demonstrations with customers
- Promote best practices and methodology related to governance, security, automation, and development standards, and validate technological choices
- Manage and supervise the digital project portfolio and oversee the complete project cycle
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture and 5+ years of experience in team management
- In-depth knowledge of web architecture, Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, automation, and development standards
- Relevant certification such as Microsoft Azure Architect (asset)
- Strong understanding of project management methodology and cybersecurity
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Bilingualism required (French and English)
