Overview

Manager, Financial Information and Control at Alimentation Couche-Tard. On-site position located in Laval. Permanent, full-time employment.

What You’ll Do

As part of the head office finance and internal control group, the manager is responsible for leading a team of eight financial analysts and overseeing the preparation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external purposes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervision, management, and allocation of responsibilities;
  • Training and development of team members;
  • Monitoring and oversight of project progress handled by the analysts;
  • Preparation and review of periodic, quarterly, and annual financial information for internal and external stakeholders (consolidated financial statements, management reports, press releases, etc.);
  • Review of documents provided by business units and service centers;
  • Consolidation of financial information and preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports, and presentations for management and committees;
  • Development and implementation of accounting policies; support to business units and management;
  • Active participation in internal benchmarking and various special projects, including process improvement and financing document preparation.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor in Administration;
  • CPA accounting designation;
  • 6 to 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Very good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards;
  • Experience in team management and project management;
  • Experience in complex accounting issues;
  • Autonomy, initiative, and ability to manage priorities while meeting deadlines;
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) written and spoken;
  • Occasional travel availability;
  • Excellent command of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
  • Proficiency in Longview and Workiva is an asset.
