Overview
Manager, Financial Information and Control at Alimentation Couche-Tard. On-site position located in Laval. Permanent, full-time employment.
What You’ll Do
As part of the head office finance and internal control group, the manager is responsible for leading a team of eight financial analysts and overseeing the preparation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external purposes. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervision, management, and allocation of responsibilities;
- Training and development of team members;
- Monitoring and oversight of project progress handled by the analysts;
- Preparation and review of periodic, quarterly, and annual financial information for internal and external stakeholders (consolidated financial statements, management reports, press releases, etc.);
- Review of documents provided by business units and service centers;
- Consolidation of financial information and preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports, and presentations for management and committees;
- Development and implementation of accounting policies; support to business units and management;
- Active participation in internal benchmarking and various special projects, including process improvement and financing document preparation.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor in Administration;
- CPA accounting designation;
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience;
- Very good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards;
- Experience in team management and project management;
- Experience in complex accounting issues;
- Autonomy, initiative, and ability to manage priorities while meeting deadlines;
- Strong teamwork and communication skills;
- Bilingualism (French and English) written and spoken;
- Occasional travel availability;
- Excellent command of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
- Proficiency in Longview and Workiva is an asset.
