Overview

Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Corporate Communication Specialist for a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications & Public Relations, the Corporate Communication Specialist will develop and execute the communication and social media strategy for Groupe Marcelle’s brands: Watier, Marcelle, Annabelle, and CW Beggs and Sons.

Your responsibilities

  • Execute & support corporate communications strategy – managing agency, social media content, media outreach, message preparation, nomination of awards
  • Responsible for GMI brand identity & establishing colour codes, templates & website
  • Execute corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities – (Foundation ball & cocktail, corporate events & retailers)
  • Manages all product nominations across Canada
  • Optimize agency partners & accountability
  • Supports and executes issues/crisis management and works closely with cross-functional partners for internal alignment
  • Ensures alignment between corporate initiatives and brand reputation goals
  • Manage and elevate the Lise Watier Foundation partnership

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications;
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in corporate communications, public relations, internal/external communications, or a related role
  • Experience managing communications with internal stakeholders, leadership teams, and external partners or media
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities across a range of formats (press releases, newsletters, speeches, internal comms, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
