Overview

Salesforce Technical Lead (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office, Montreal, QC)

We’re looking for a Salesforce Technical Lead to join our systems team. You’ll be responsible for the full product lifecycle – from design and development to deployment and maintenance – across Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Sales Cloud. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, integrations, and collaboration with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and Flows.
• Build and manage integrations with other systems using Salesforce APIs (REST / SOAP / Bulk).
• Oversee deployments using Gearset and Visual Studio Code.
• Evaluate business requirements, provide technical guidance, and balance configuration vs. customization.
• Support system design with scalability, maintainability, and security in mind.
• Collaborate with administrators, analysts, and cross-functional teams; occasionally step in as BA or Sys Admin.
• Document solutions, write user stories, and support agile delivery practices.
• Lead code reviews and enforce best practices.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years Salesforce development and implementation (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
• Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL / SOSL, Salesforce APIs, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Understanding of Salesforce security model (roles, profiles, sharing, permission sets).
• Experience with agile methodologies and CI / CD tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gearset).
• Salesforce certification(s).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Bilingual (English / French).
• Knowledge of HTML / CSS.
• Experience building integrations with REST, SOAP, OAuth, and Single Sign-On.
