Team Overview

You’ll be joining the Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) division, which supports the full software development lifecycle across the organization. ETS powers over 3,000 production applications and delivers workplace technologies that enhance productivity through integrated desktop, mobile, voice, video, and cloud services.

Role Summary

As a Cloud Computing Senior Developer, you will contribute to building tools and solutions for both on-premises and public cloud environments. You’ll work across the stack—from command-line tools and RESTful APIs to front-end interfaces and backend logic. This role is part of the Cloud Fleet within Enterprise Computing, offering close collaboration with infrastructure and IaaS teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review code, contributing ideas and improvements.
• Lead and participate in technical discussions and solution design.
• Build web applications, services, and APIs used by hundreds of users.
• Implement application components using Python.
• Collaborate with global teams across the US, Europe, and Asia.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Linux / Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with TDD, CI / CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Strong communication skills for working with global teams.
• Understanding of change management and documentation best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Familiarity with Flask or FastAPI frameworks.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to OpenShift.
• Understanding of Apache, TCP / IP, and HTTP protocols.
