Senior data and analytics engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer for our client for a 6-month renewable contract (until January 31, 2026 + renewal option).

Contract Details :

• 35 hours per week
• Hybrid work model : 50% on-site at any Montreal, Brossard, Valcourt, or Sherbrooke offices (to be confirmed with the hiring manager)
• Estimated hourly rate by our recruitment firm : $80-85 / hour
• This is an incorporated consultant contract (however, an employment contract is also possible)

Profil

• Expertise in companies with 10,000+ employees
• 5+ years of experience as a data & analytics engineer

Solid and demonstrated experience with the following technologies :

Snowflake

Fluent in the following programming languages :

• Python
• Proficient in writing, executing, and optimizing complex SQL queries
• Experience with data profiling and other means of validating data quality
• Familiar with DevOps practices
• Experience working within an agile team to build big data / analytics solutions
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, AI / ML knowledge

Additional Assets :

• Expertise in manufacturing / transportation / automotive / aerospace industries
• Experience with international companies operating across multiple continents
• Multi-site enterprise experience

Knowledge of the following programming languages is a plus :

Javascript / Node.js

• Java

Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus :

Azure

• Microsoft SQL Server
• Power BI
• Fluent in writing, executing and optimizing complex SQL queries
