Job Description

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position Summary

This project involves the development and updating of software applications used to assess hemodialysis adequacy and analyze ambulatory blood pressure monitoring studies. The role is a part-time, occasional position requiring advanced software development and coding skills.

General Duties

• Review and update existing software applications or develop new ones,
• Integrate new software with existing applications within the MUHC environment,
• Prepare detailed manuals for software use and future updates.

Education / Experience

Education : Bachelor's Degree

Field of Study : Computer Science

Required Skills

• Bilingualism preferred, spoken and written,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Information

Status : Temporary, Occasional

Pay Scale : $30.60 to $56.82 / hour, commensurate with education & work experience.

Work Shift : Variable Schedule

Work Site : Hybrid

A combination of remote work and on-site work at the Montreal Children’s Hospital is required.
