The role

Join Behaviour Interactive as a Team Lead Animator for our iconic IP, Dead by Daylight. In this role, you will lead the animation production, ensuring the delivery of stunning, high-quality animations that captivate players. You will mentor and oversee a talented team of animators, collaborating closely with directors, game designers, and programmers to bring our creative vision to life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Production, Animation, Tech, Design, and Creative teams to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality animation for a live game.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of 3D animators.
  • Supporting internal and external animation teams, promoting best practices and standards.
  • Creating documentation and training materials to support pipeline consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Planning future animation features with a focus on feasibility and innovation.
  • Advocating for excellence and innovation in Animation and Tech Animation across the project.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in animation.
  • Experience working with outsourcing partners.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing and delegating tasks within a team.
  • Ability to serve as a primary contact for animation questions within inter-departmental collaborations.
  • Expertise in Maya, Unreal, and Blender is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge in keyframing and motion in animation.
