What is a Business Development Executive at GURUS Solutions?
Sales Executives are ambitious go-getters passionate about delivering the best solutions to clients and guiding them through their strategic growth!
Main Responsibilities
- Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities through strategic and disciplined business development efforts to achieve your territory's sales quota. Proactively contact and follow up on leads and target accounts, recording activity in the CRM.
- Develop your network by attending marketing and networking events such as seminars, conferences, and trade shows. Build strong relationships with strategic partners.
- Define a sales strategy and execution plan for each opportunity, including timelines, technical support needs, and key implementation milestones. Communicate your plan clearly to your team and monitor each step of the sales cycle.
- Lead and coordinate the preparation of NetSuite demonstrations with your assigned Solution Consultant team. Prepare professional sales presentations, proposals, and support documentation, including responses to RFPs.
- Lead commercial negotiations following GURUS & Oracle pricing guidelines, coordinating contract negotiations with support from GURUS legal team.
- Maintain and update in real-time the CRM system with accurate information such as expected close date, budget, timeline, next steps, and other relevant data to forecast revenues and assist the operations team.
- Act as a liaison for prospects and GURUS Solutions’ customers in your territory, facilitating communication between clients and our NetSuite Consultants & Developers.
What do you need to be a good Senior Business Development Executive at GURUS?
- Fluency in English (French is a strong asset), as this position focuses on the North American territory.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales or as a Sales Executive in the IT industry (NetSuite knowledge is a strong asset).
- University degree in business administration, management, engineering, technology, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Problem-solver with a keen focus on customer experience and satisfaction.
- Effective communicator with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
- Excellent listening and negotiation skills.
- Strong initiative, resourcefulness, and time management skills.
- Ability to understand client complexities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to build a network, connect with prospects, and identify suitable companies.
