Join our dynamic team

as a Team Lead Animator on our exciting IP, Dead by Daylight! You will spearhead the animation production, ensuring our game continues to captivate players with stunning, high-quality animations. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a talented team of animators to create high-quality animations. Collaborate closely with directors, game designers, and programmers to bring the vision to life. In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with Production, Animation, Tech, Design, and Creative to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality animation for a live game.
  • Lead a team 3D animator will guide a team internally.
  • Support internal and external animation teams, promoting up-to-date methods and standards.
  • Create clear documentation and training tools to support pipeline consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Help plan future animation features, with a focus on feasibility and innovation.
  • Advocate for Animation and Tech Animation, driving excellence and innovation across the project.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experienced in collaborating with outsourcing partners.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team, delegating tasks, and distributing workload.
  • Comfort in being a representative for Animation in inter-departmental conversations, being the primary contact for animation questions.
  • Expertise in Maya, Unreal and Blender is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge in animation such as in key framing and in motion.
