IT Procurement Specialist

Arobas Personnel is looking for an IT Procurement Specialist for a mandate with one of its clients located in Montreal.

• Remote : Hybrid

Your role :

This is an individual contributor role where you will lead complex strategic procurement projects, drive process optimization initiatives, provide coaching/support, and collaborate closely with a global procurement team of about 100 employees.

Key responsibilities :

• Act as a trusted advisor to executives and stakeholders.
• Develop and execute IT category strategies and identify synergies.
• Build and maintain a multi-year opportunity pipeline.
• Lead execution of global IT procurement strategies.
• Develop complex analytical models to support decisions.
• Monitor market trends and integrate innovation into sourcing strategies.
• Coach junior team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Must Have Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, law, or related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in technology procurement.
• Strong experience in negotiation and vendor selection processes.
• Functional competencies: Communication, Influence, Digital Dexterity, Information Navigation, Intellectual Curiosity, Value Creation.
• Role-based competencies: Collaboration, Financial Acumen, Problem Solving, Negotiation.
• Excellent customer service skills, with both internal stakeholders and suppliers.
