Arobas personnel is looking for a IT Data Analyst for a permanent position with one of our clients located in Montreal.

Actively contribute to the execution of IT development projects.
Implement and continuously optimize BI processes, aligning them with business needs and industry best practices.
Ensure rigorous monitoring and improvement of procedures to guarantee service quality.
Develop and maintain an internal knowledge base, including technical documentation.
Write complex SQL queries or Python / R scripts to extract, transform, and analyze multi-source data.
Design, deploy, and maintain complete cloud solutions integrating data management and transformation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and analyze data, providing actionable recommendations.
Design and implement data models (star schemas, semantic models) to optimize analytics and reporting.
Use M and DAX to develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards.

University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
8–12 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
Good knowledge of Python / R.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Fabric).
Understanding of data security best practices.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Power BI expertise (M and DAX).
Solid experience in database design, data warehousing, segmentation, and reporting.
Familiarity with development concepts and methodologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, bilingual (French / English).
Perseverance, strong time management skills, and ability to perform under pressure.
