We're seeking a meticulous and dynamic Research Analyst to join our growing Partnerships team at NoAM Retail. This role is essential in supporting our Channel Sales Managers by providing foundational data and insights to build and nurture strategic partnerships.
Your main responsibility will be empowering our Channel Sales Managers to identify, develop, and grow strategic partnerships that attract new merchants to Lightspeed. You will specialize in uncovering ideal partner profiles (IPPs), building targeted hit lists, and collecting vital data to ensure outreach effectiveness.
Responsibilities include :
- Conducting research to identify and define our Ideal Partner Profile (IPP) within the retail landscape, aligned with strategic goals.
- Developing targeted hit lists of prospective partners using various research tools and databases.
- Gathering and analyzing data on partnership effectiveness, including lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI to inform strategies.
- Tracking industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Supporting Channel Sales Managers with relevant company information, contact details, and insights before outreach.
- Maintaining and updating a comprehensive partner database for data accuracy and accessibility.
- Collaborating with Channel Sales Managers to understand research needs and providing actionable insights.
- Preparing reports and presentations summarizing research findings and recommendations for senior management.
- Contributing to special projects and partner call lists, which involve proactive outbound calling to qualify leads.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in research analysis, market research, or business intelligence, preferably in sales or partnerships.
- Proficiency with research tools like Clay, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly.
- Critical thinking skills to evaluate information and identify patterns.
- Experience in SaaS and understanding of the Retail industry are pluses.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Mac OS, G Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Office.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude, energetic, and passionate about the role.
