Job Description
This position will focus on Mobile Device support. This includes setup, programming, troubleshooting devices and printers. IT/helpdesk support to 500+ users in numerous locations. Support will include Desktop/Laptop hardware and software support, application support, printer support, user administration, email, and remote access support. Ability to communicate both written and verbal in French and English.
Major Job Duties
- Package and ship replacement devices
- Ship devices in for repair
- Complete all paperwork required
- After hours on call support
- Answer Tech Support calls and create Tech Support requests
Helpdesk (15%)
- Monitor Helpdesk
- Helpdesk first responder to users
- Resolve basic issues (hardware and software)
- Contact next level of support
- After hours on call support
- Special projects given by the Network Manager
PC Administration (10%)
Network Administration (5%)
- User Administration (add users; setup shares; etc)
Job Qualifications
High School diploma, some computer/network training or experience. Mobile equipment (Honeywell) knowledge and skills are a plus. Attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to get along with others is required. Computer and Networking knowledge or training is also a plus.
Essential Job Functions
- Professionally communicate written and oral in French and English
- Respond and complete basic Helpdesk requests
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
