Job Title :
Business Development Executive – Aerospace Sector
Reporting to : General Manager
Role Definition :
The Business Development Executive – Aerospace will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will have a background working for major aerospace companies (e.g., Bombardier, Safran, Rolls-Royce), a proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles, and established relationships within the Quebec aerospace network.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target strategic aerospace accounts, especially within Quebec and North America
- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new OEM clients in aerospace and defense/aerospace
- Leverage existing network and industry knowledge to build long-term customer relationships
- Work closely with internal teams (Engineering, Operations, Finance) to structure proposals and win new business
- Represent ASI at relevant industry events, trade shows, and Aero Montreal initiatives
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, RFQs, and proposals tailored to client needs
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics and pipeline progress
- Maintain CRM with accurate and up-to-date information on contacts and opportunities
- Provide market feedback and intelligence to help shape product or service offerings
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of business development or account management experience in aerospace or a closely related field
- Previous experience at an aerospace OEM or Tier 1 supplier (e.g., Bombardier, Safran, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the aerospace supply chain, procurement cycles, and major players in Quebec
- Demonstrated success in building and managing relationships with OEMs and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to understand technical specifications and relay complex solutions clearly
- Fluent in French and English (preferred)
- Availability to travel as needed (approx. 1 week/month)
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

- Full-time on-site position located in Montreal, Quebec
