This position is within Technology Modernization and Architecture. As a department, we are responsible for promoting and adopting new technology within the firm. The successful candidate will join a team developing an ecosystem of tools and processes to enable technologists to make informed technology decisions based on accurate and up-to-date information on technologies available at the firm. The central catalogue of technologies is being implemented on the ServiceNow platform, with other components built on a distributed platform. The solution will help us track our inventory of technical products across the firm, their lifecycles, and highlight opportunities for consolidation and cost savings.

Responsabilités

As a ServiceNow developer, you will work directly with our customers to understand their requirements and craft technical solutions. The successful candidate will advocate for building software correctly, critique and challenge design ideas from both technical and business perspectives, and ensure solutions are sustainable without excessive customization on ServiceNow. You will also help implement and maintain standards within our team and suggest improvements to technical and soft processes. You will be involved in all facets of development, from requirements gathering, design, development, to production.

Compétences requises

• Minimum of 5 years as a software developer
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing in ServiceNow
• Strong knowledge of database development concepts
• Strong background in software development, architecture, data structures, algorithms, and SDLC models
• Ability to work with customers, gather requirements, and create solutions independently
• Effective communication across timezones and geographies
• Experience with agile development practices
• Experience modeling data in ServiceNow with familiarity with CSDM
• Previous experience with ServiceNow implementations for multiple clients, preferably with a ServiceNow partner consultancy
• Experience working with IT Asset Management (ITAM)
• Experience working with Snowflake
• Experience implementing ServiceNow in complex network environments
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python
• ITIL certification
