Responsabilités
Reporting to the IT & Finances Consultant, the IT Superintendent will:
- Supervise IT activities at various sites, providing advice and technical support.
- Ensure proper operation of the company's IT equipment, requiring frequent visits to all offices and mining sites.

- Engage with managers across the business.
- Deploy IT infrastructure following group standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and procure IT, networking, and telephony services.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Align operational activities with the strategic objectives of the Windfall project.
- Ensure health and safety policies are followed by team members.
- Manage work schedules for IT technicians.
- Conduct performance appraisals for staff.
- Oversee the support team for all IT infrastructure.
- Coordinate with subcontractors on-site work related to IT installations.
- Manage new contractor IT needs upon arrival.
- Lead special IT projects, such as electronic key systems.
- Assist with IT security management and employee training.
- Provide support for Microsoft applications and operating systems.
- Maintain documentation, logs, and records for IT hardware, software, and licenses.
- Serve as ServiceNow owner for Windfall, ensuring service delivery.
- Communicate with users about incident progress and system changes.
- Perform other relevant tasks to support the IT Superintendent role.
Qualifications
- Diploma of Collegial Studies in Computer Science.
- At least five years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Bilingual in French and English is preferred, as communication with English-speaking suppliers and consultants is required.

- Strong understanding of Microsoft Exchange, operating systems, business applications, printing, and networking.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Resource matching skills for technical problems.
- Knowledge of key IT services support.
- Understanding of support tools and technology use in IT service delivery.
