• Technical Regulatory Translation Specialist - Language Expert

This role is a great opportunity for an individual with excellent language skills to join our team as a Technical Regulatory Translation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all product documentation, including specifications and packaging labels, are translated accurately and compliant with relevant regulations.

Responsabilités

• Review food product specifications to ensure compliance with CFIA guidelines and other applicable regulations.
• Translate technical documentation from English to French or French to English, as required.
• Maintain product information in both languages, ensuring full traceability of supporting documentation for product labels and specifications.
• Support audit and review processes for product specifications, manage sample submissions to laboratories, and validate results.

Profil idéal

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nutrition labeling, Federal and Provincial Regulations related to food labeling, and translation standards as they relate to food products. A university degree or college diploma in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field is required, along with at least 3 years of experience performing translations.
