Arobas Personnel is looking for a Manager Infrastructure TI for a permanent role with one of its clients located in Montreal (Ville Saint-Laurent).
- 4 days / week in the office
Reporting to the CIO, you will be responsible for managing the company's entire technology infrastructure—from data centers and servers to network equipment, end-user devices, and support services. You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead technology transformation projects, and ensure a high level of service, security, and compliance across the board.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and support a technical team in charge of user support, system maintenance, and solution deployment.
- Oversee ITSM processes (incident management, change management, etc.) and ensure adherence to established service levels.
Operations & Infrastructure
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to support, security, and incident management.
- Plan and coordinate system updates, hardware replacements, installations, and configurations.
- Monitor Service Desk performance, analyze data, identify recurring issues, and recommend continuous improvement strategies.
- Keep technical documentation and inventories up to date.
Strategy & Collaboration
- Contribute to the development of the IT three-year roadmap and participate in budgeting activities.
- Collaborate with other IT departments to enhance services and actively support assigned projects.
- Conduct technology watch to stay current with emerging trends and best practices.
Ideal Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or DEC with equivalent relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including at least 3 years in IT customer support.
- Proven experience managing technical teams.
- Strong technical skills across servers, networks, storage, virtualization, operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), VMware environments, SAN, etc.
- Solid grasp of ITSM processes and experience with ticketing tools (Jira is a plus).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ITAR, DFARS, CMMC (NIST SP800-171) (an asset).
- Strong customer service orientation, autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- ITIL certification is an asset.
