We are looking for a Scrum Master to join us on a contract basis to support up to 2 Agile product teams, helping them achieve their goals and assisting leadership in coordinating across the family.

Contract Details

  • Term: 12 months
  • Location: Toronto office, hybrid work model
  • Reporting To: Manager, Scrum

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Ensure sprint planning, task definition, execution, impediment removal, backlog refinement, and retrospectives are conducted effectively.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and Tech Lead to address team needs and remove obstacles such as dependencies, risks, and impediments.
  • Coordinate with other teams through Scrum of Scrums and other synchronizations.
  • Shield the team from external disruptions to maintain focus on sprint goals.
  • Track team performance metrics and progress towards goals and OKRs, analyzing trends.
  • Support the Product Owner and Tech Lead in defining and communicating the team's vision and OKRs.
  • Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement, fostering an environment of trust and psychological safety.
  • Partner with Agile Coach and Scrum Chapter Lead to coach the team on Agile principles.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to enhance organizational agility.
  • Participate in Community of Practice activities.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Scrum Master or Agile Lead.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Agile principles with adaptability to new environments.
