Global VFX Creative Director

Lead the creative vision and execution of VFX for global feature films and episodic series. Interpret scripts, visualize sequences, and craft compelling cinematic storytelling through VFX.

Key Responsibilities :

• Creative Leadership: Review and approve shot work to maintain the highest visual and narrative standards, prepare bid breakdowns and bids when necessary.
• Global Collaboration: Coordinate closely with delivery teams to manage daily production, shot progress, and creative consistency; serve as the primary creative contact for clients, directors, and showrunners.
• Technical Oversight & Pipeline Alignment: Collaborate with Department Supervisors to establish workflows and solve complex technical challenges; ensure seamless integration of visual elements within client-provided assets or real footage.
• Team Mentorship & Direction: Guide and inspire a team of global artists and leads; set clear creative expectations and provide feedback during all stages of production.

Qualifications & Experience :

• 5+ years as a VFX Supervisor in a VFX studio environment; proven experience leading complex VFX projects for feature films or major episodic productions.
• Strong storytelling sensibility with deep artistic and technical knowledge of VFX pipelines; familiarity with tools like Nuke, Houdini, Unreal Engine, ShotGrid, etc.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills; must be a resident of Montreal, Canada.
