You should be passionate and knowledgeable about:

  • Bachelor’s degree with STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
  • Minimum of 3 years of LabVIEW code development for measurement equipment control
  • Minimum of 2 years of programming experience with C++, C#, or Python
  • Familiarity with Linux, CMake, and bash
  • Experience developing and implementing automatic software test solutions for hardware
  • Understanding principles of M2M communication
  • Familiarity with Electrical Standards for machine wiring
  • Experience using test equipment and instruments, including DMM, Oscilloscopes, and Data Acquisition Systems
  • Hardware knowledge - good at schematic reading and hardware troubleshooting
  • Excellent technical writing abilities
  • Certified LabVIEW Developer is desirable
  • NI TestStand experience is desirable
  • CAD experience is an asset

And this is what we’d expect of you:

  • Promote best practices for LabVIEW software development
  • Develop and debug test procedures for PCBA test fixtures and final unit tests
  • Design and implement various test equipment communication protocols
  • Writing software, fixture operation, and maintenance documentation
  • Collaborate in the development and deployment of automated test fixtures
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement test changes and optimizations
  • Do not be afraid to get your hands dirty. You will not only design things at your desk but also get involved in the testing lab, manufacturing plant, and potential site visits

Experience requirements:

  • LabVIEW: 3 years (mandatory)
  • C++, C#, or Python: 2 years (mandatory)

Language requirement

  • English Working proficiency - mandatory
  • French Working proficiency - optional

Interview process

The hiring process for this position will consist of 3 interviews:

  • 1st interview with HR representative - 20 minutes via Google Meet - General discussion, confirmation of interest
  • 2nd interview with the department’s head - 30 minutes via Google Meet - General technical discussion
  • 3rd interview with your future colleagues and supervisor - 1 hour on-site - In-depth technical discussion + tour of the office
